Introduction
USBDIP is an 8-bit USB Host Interface, based on the Cypress
USB Master/Slave Controller SL811HS.
USBDIP is well suited for expanding own prototypes by an USB Host Interface. Because of the
compact design, only an additional DIP32 socket is needed for connection.
Two times 5V is needed for power supply:
- 5V for the power supply of connected USB devices (500mA),
- and seperate 5V supply remaining logic (transformed to 3.3V internally).
The USBDIP interface is 5V tolerant.

Software
An USB mass storage device driver for Ethernut is available. Unfortunately, it is not allowed
to distribute the driver source, because it is based on the original 8051 source of Cypress.
